The Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley is pleased to announce the December Professional Development webinar program "Stop Doing the Dirty Work for Frontline Managers!" presented by Deb Calvert. Isn't it high time that your managers stopped over-relying on HR? This workshop will help you equip your management team for doing the work of managers (instead of expecting you to do all the dirty work). You'll learn to:

    • Determine ways to make managers more self-sufficient in handling routine employee feedback and performance issues.
    • Refocus your time and attention on more serious and strategic matters instead of getting mired in the day-to-day.
    • Build managerial effectiveness and improve the employee experience by stepping away from routine performance management conversations.
    • Ensure timely and quality feedback with solid documentation by holding managers accountable for better people practices.
    • Minimize the risk of unnecessary escalation and perceptions of unfairness by establishing a culture of routine feedback for employee growth.

This workshop has been designed to support behaviors associated with SHRM's Leadership & Navigation BASK Competency. Specifically, we'll focus on how to:

    • Improve the employee experience.
    • Upskill managers and supervisors.
    • Resolve talent issues.
    • Refocus HR strategically.
    • Minimize employee relations risks.
