The Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley is pleased to announce the March Executive Luncheon and Professional Development Program "Overcoming the Barriers of Immigration" presented by J.J. Despain. In this presentation, J.J. will dispel fears and provide assurance to the employers and human resources managers who are missing out on potential talent, and let them know that immigration issues do not have to be an obstacle.
1) The audience will know what visa options are available to them and their employees and job candidates - some options they may have never known existed.
2) The audience will know the basic features and requirements of these various options, their advantages and disadvantages, and be better able to determine which option best matches their situation.
3) The audience will know what is required of them and their companies in order to sponsor employees or potential employees for a visa or other immigration benefit, in terms of cost, time, and other resources.
4) The audience will leave the session with the knowledge and the confidence that they do not have to say "no" to a qualified job candidate or employee just because of immigration-related reasons, and that immigration does not have to prevent a company from increasing in talent and growing in numbers.
