HRATV is pleased to present "Inclusive Strategic Planning & HR Program Design" presented by Joanne Chu and Shannon Rush. Have you been involved in a strategic planning effort where you produced a beautiful document yet failed to achieve the outcomes of the plan? Or, designed a program for your employees and then been surprised by the feedback received as you introduced what you thought was a well-thought through approach? If yes, you are not alone. Taking an inclusive approach to involve our stakeholders, including our employees, can help.
In this session, we’ll learn an approach to identify and involve the diverse and relevant stakeholders we need to engage in creating change. This skill of thoroughly involving others is foundational to generating strategic and sustainable outcomes. It is a key lever to increase employee engagement and improve organizational performance.
Specific Learning Intended Outcomes:
1. Increased understanding of:
a. who are relevant stakeholders (and why we should care)
b. how stakeholders impact and enhance any change initiative
2. Increased understanding around how to better engage stakeholders
3. Increased understanding around how to organize stakeholders
