The Human Resources Association of Treasure Valley is pleased to announce the June Professional Development and Networking program "The Power of Glassdoor: Are Online Reviews Helping or Hurting Your Talent Attraction Efforts?" presented by John Taylor. With the rise of social media, sites like Glassdoor are quickly becoming the "Yelp for employers." The internet has provided a powerful online platform for employees and candidates alike to talk about their positive and negative experiences with your company. Fifty two percent of candidates utilize Glassdoor to read reviews at the start of their job search prior to speaking with a company recruiter or hiring manager. If you aren't actively managing your employer brand online, negative reviews can potentially damage your talent pipelines and discourage good candidates from applying.
HRATV's June speaker will discuss the power of Glassdoor, what "social listening" is, and share techniques that savvy companies and HR professionals can use to turn Glassdoor into a talent attraction and employer branding asset. This presentation is a must-attend for HR professionals looking for ways to enhance their company brand to build better candidate pipelines and gain an edge in this competitive job market.
