HRATV is proud to announce our 2021 LEAD Series: Leadership Conversations with CHROs and Chief People Leaders. Join us for personal conversations with Idaho’s top HR/People leaders, representing a broad cross-section of Idaho-based organizations, of varying size and industry. We’ll hear about each executives’ personal leadership journey, where they started and how they got to where they are today along with lessons learned along the way, and dive into their priorities for 2021.

This program is for all HR professionals, from early career to executive, looking to learn insights and best practices from top leaders in Human Resources.

Jana Straubhar, Vice President Human Resources, US Ecology

With 38 years of HR experience, Jana Straubhar’s career has spanned many industries and business models that have allowed her grow knowledge and understanding of why human capital management vision and strategy is key to any company’s success.  From new business startups to mature organizations, financial institutions to service solutions organizations, culture and designing programs that deliver compelling reasons for high-performing to come, stay, and grow their careers. With a passion for building business partnerships that achieve results through collaborative ways of working. 

Today Jana proudly serves the people of US Ecology who are committed to providing safe and compliant solutions to protect human health and the communities in which we live and work. Our HR vision is to deliver an employment experience that is second to none, by keeping our fingers on the pulse of what it takes to design and deliver People and Culture strategies necessary to attract the best talent by building empathic leaders who understand the value of building diverse, inclusive teams.  

MEET OUR LEAD SERIES MODERATOR

Shannon Rush-Call is the Co-Founder of Strelo Group, a consultancy that helps clients take courageous steps to embolden change, resulting in leaders and teams who are more confident, connected, and impactful. Shannon brings 20 years of experience designing and delivering client services and people programs in complex global environments of Fortune 500 companies. She cultivates commitment within teams and organizations to produce lasting outcomes. Central to Shannon’s purpose is building inclusive cultures and empowering professionals to be courageous leaders. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio and Commercial Art from Western State University and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Idaho. Shannon is also currently the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellow for Boise State’s Blue Sky Institute. Shannon’s life outside of work is filled with outdoor adventures with her husband and three teenage sons. She is most at home on her parents’ ranch in Lake Fork, Idaho.
